The County offers many payment options including the Internet, by telephone, by mail, in person or online banking. You can pay by credit, debit and E-check payments for personal property taxes, meals taxes, real estate taxes, utility bills, parking tickets, false alarm fees, dog license fees, planning fees, building inspection fees and elevator certificate fees.

When paying by credit, debit, or e-Check, please allow 2 business days for your payment to reach the County. It is important accurate payment information is provided. If an incorrect account number or payment type is provided, you could be subject to additional fees or late payment penalties.
In the event your check or electronic debit is returned unpaid, an additional service charge of $50.00 will be added to your amount due for the processing of the returned item as allowed by the Code of Virginia and the Code of Henrico County. In the event that your check is returned unpaid for insufficient or uncollected funds, we may re-present your check electronically. Your check will not be provided to you with your bank statement, but a copy can be retrieved by contacting your financial institution.
Automated Payment Plans for Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes
The County offers an automated payment plan that allows monthly payments to be automatically drafted from your bank account. Also, you can elect to have the payments drafted automatically from your bank account on the tax due date.
