The Henrico County Police Division regards crime prevention as one of the most valuable tools available to ensure the safety of Henrico County citizens, neighborhoods, and businesses. The Division’s Community Policing Section is comprised of many units that coordinate, teach, and practice crime prevention in Henrico County.

The Prevention Services Unit and Community Officers Unit fall under the guidance of the Community Policing Section and are comprised of officers and civilians who have received extensive crime prevention training.
