If you are currently a Jail Deputy or Jailor in the State of Virginia, we are accepting applications from certified applicants. Once employment with the Henrico Sheriff’s Office is confirmed, pre-certified applicants attend a modified academy or in-service training to become familiar with the Henrico County Sheriff’s office operations and policies.

We are looking to fill the full-time staff position of Director of Volunteer and Youth Engagement. 

The Director of Volunteer and Youth Engagement is a community-forward and community-centered position, and the person who fills the role balances many tasks from that perspective. The Director will have one direct report, a Capacity Building AmeriCorps Member supporting with volunteer and youth engagement tasks.

Virginia Refugee Healing Partnership FREE Interpreter Training Course for future Behavioral Health Interpreters and Educational Interpreters


The Virginia Refugee Healing Partnership offers FREE ONLINE ORAL INTERPRETER TRAINING to qualified Virginia residents and a percentage of qualified out-of-state applicants. Two tracks for Interpreting in Clinical Setting (CL) and Interpreting in Educational Setting (ES) are offered in three levels and the training of trainers.

The Virginia Refugee Healing Partnership Health Interpreter Training is free and open to the public. Participants are responsible for purchasing the training materials.
