County-Wide Pedestrian Signal Improvements

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• ​​Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHB) at different locations throughout the County, including, but not limited to, intersections at Pump Road and Old Prescott Road, Pump Road and Carisbrook Drive, and Twin Hickory Road and Hickory Bend Road.

• Design is underway. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated 3rd Quarter, 2024. 
• Utility relocation is not anticipated. 
• Advertisement for construction is not anticipated. 
• Construction is anticipated 3rd Quarter, 2024.
