Henrico residents can pick up free COVID-19 care kits at drive-through distribution sites planned for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, and for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Kits consisting of reusable cloth face coverings, hand sanitizer and flyers with health information will be available for pickup, while supplies last, at:

Henrico delivered care kits to the doorsteps of more than 35,000 residences in neighborhoods across the county in May and August. Some areas in eastern Henrico were not covered by those canvassing efforts as they proved difficult for volunteer teams to walk. The drive-through sites are intended to offer convenient access for residents who may not have received kits in earlier distributions, as well as for any others who need them.

“These are centralized locations where the public can pick up personal protective equipment and useful information,” said Monica Smith-Callahan, deputy county manager for community affairs. “Henrico County is committed to helping its residents as they continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.”
