Henrico Live: Brad Spivey

Following a successful stint at the turn of the century as guitarist and vocalist for the Bluegrass legend George Winn, Brad Spivey has been performing traditional country music for Virginia audiences for over twenty years, both as a solo performer and with his popular band The Honky Tonk Experience. The songs of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, George Jones and many other legends are brought to life in an authentic way at Brad’s shows. Brad’s solo performances allow for a more intimate and personal audience experience as great songs are lovingly and simply presented with just his voice and guitar. Stories about the songs and the legends who performed them are shared as well, rounding out an evening that truly celebrates classic country music and the artists who created it.
