A rooftop solar project is in design for the Recreation & Parks Main Office.  The 104 kiloWatt system is projected to produce approximately 35% of the building’s electricity.  Sun Tribe Solar will install, operate, and maintain the system and sell the solar electricity back to Henrico County at a reduced rate compared to grid electricity. Over the next 25 years, the system is estimated to save nearly $100,000 for Henrico taxpayers
