E. Laburnum Pedestrian Improvements​

Project Description: 

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• ​​Approximately 1,550-ft of sidewalk on the north side of E. Laburnum Avenue between Austin Avenue and Adams Road​ 
• Upgrades to one existing GRTC transit stop 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway​. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in the ​2025​. 
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in ​2025​. 
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin in ​2026​. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin in ​2026​.
