Board of Supervisors Chairman and Fairfield District Supervisor Frank J. Thornton will hold a Fairfield Constituent Meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 25 to explain the roles of Henrico County’s various boards and commissions as well as the new Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave.
Dennis Bickmeier, executive director of the Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority, will discuss its work to promote sports tourism and manage various public-private facilities, including the Henrico Sports & Events Center, which is under construction at Virginia Center Commons.
