Sandston Centennial Celebration 2021

The Sandston community brings you the Sandston Centennial Celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of being incorporated as a town. American Legion Post 242, the Sandston Youth Association, Boy Scout Pack 520, the Sandston Memorial Recreation Center, Founder’s Club of Sandston, local business members and Henrico County are coming together to bring family fun on Labor Day.
Event Schedule:
1 pm – Sandston Parade
Starts on Williamsburg Road where it intersects with Beulah Road. Proceeds west and disbands at North Confederate Avenue
2-4 pm – Block Party
Sandston Recreation Area on JB Finley Street
- Concessions for sale benefit the Sandston Youth Association
- Contests and games (with prizes!)
- Hanover Flying Club flying demonstrations
- FREE ice cream
- Henrico Fire
- Bounce houses
- Live Music
- History of Sandston displays
