Youth Conservation Camp

available in person   In Person

Youth Conservation Camp brings together students for a week of learning about Virginia’s natural resources from conservation professionals and faculty from Virginia Tech.  Most of the instruction is hands-on and outdoors.  Students must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12.

Henricopolis offers scholarships for at least two students to cover the registration fee.  The only cost to the student is transportation to and from Virginia Tech.  The 2020 Youth Conservation Camp session has been cancelled.  Check back Spring 2021 for next year’s camp information.

Visit the YCC website to see the 2019 YCC Annual Report.

For more information, contact Lindy Durham at or 501-5175.  The camp application will be available soon..
