Become a Volunteer

Henrico County’s Volunteer Services Program strives to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities to individuals and groups seeking to devote their time and services to our organization. Volunteers can make a difference in many ways to include volunteering for park clean ups, serving at the animal shelter, and many more. Ready to get involved? Learn more about volunteering with us by checking out our opportunities below.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most Henrico County agencies are not currently using volunteers for their programs and activities. Henrico County does understand that volunteers are vital right now, especially as we navigate the impacts of COVID-19 on our community. If you are interested in volunteering to lessen the impacts of COVID-19, please look at our list of Richmond Area Reassurance Programs for ways to give back during this critical time of need. Thank you for all you do every day to support our community and citizens.
