Derbyshire Rd Pedestrian and Roadway Improvements Study

The County of Henrico will be analyzing potential accommodations to increase pedestrian safety, access, and connectivity as well as the safety of motorists. The following improvements will be analyzed, including: 

• Addition of left-turn lane at N. Mooreland Rd  

• Improve road curve near Gunby Dr 

• Addition of trail to one side of road 

• Addition of pedestrian signals/crossings. 

The first stage of the study will be an Alternatives Analysis to determine the most effective design.
