Henrico 4-H, 4 Art 2 Heart to offer free virtual art camp for youth April 1-4

Henrico 4-H Youth Development and the nonprofit 4 Art 2 Heart will offer a free virtual art camp for youth from April 1-4, which coincides with spring break for Henrico County Public Schools.

The Virtual Spring Break Arts Camp will be conducted via Zoom each day from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sisters Nikhita and Rithanya Saravanan, of 4 Art 2 Heart, will lead the sessions, which will explore different styles of art and highlight festivals around the world, including the Obon Festival in Japan, the Noto Flower Festival in Italy, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico and the Tsechus Festival in Bhutan.

The camp is open to youth ages 5 to 18. 4-H membership is not required. Registration is accepted online.

Nikhita Saravanan is a Henrico 4-H member and recipient of the Virginia 4-H 2023 Youth in Action Award in Civic Engagement. Rithanya Saravanan is a former 4-H member and All Star. They established 4 Art 2 Heart to help others unlock their artistic talents and skills while relieving stress during times of anxiety and uncertainty.
