Tuckahoe meeting Sept. 22 to feature Henrico’s upcoming bond referendum

Henrico County Board of Supervisors Chairman and Tuckahoe District Supervisor Patricia S. O’Bannon will host a Tuckahoe Town Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 22 to discuss the 2022 bond referendum.

The referendum will consist of four questions on the Nov. 8 general election ballot and proposes to fund $511.4 million in capital projects to improve schools, parks, fire stations and other public safety facilities, and drainage. Voting by absentee ballot begins Friday, Sept. 23.

O’Bannon will be joined by County Manager John A. Vithoulkas and Deputy County Manager for Administration W. Brandon Hinton.

The meeting will be held at the Tuckahoe Area Library, 1901 Starling Drive, with sessions at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Residents may participate virtually via WebEx using links for the 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. sessions. Residents also may participate by phone by calling 1-415-655-0002 and entering the access code 2315 932 5183 for the 1 p.m. session and 2304 407 5242 for the 6:30 p.m. session.
