Tuckahoe meeting April 22 to discuss summer plans for parks, libraries

Meeting also will explain Real Estate Advantage Program

Tuckahoe District Supervisor Patricia S. O’Bannon will host a Tuckahoe Town Meeting on Thursday, April 22 to highlight plans for summer programs and services at Henrico County parks and libraries.

The meeting also will explain the Real Estate Advantage Program (REAP), which offers a real estate tax exemption for qualified seniors and residents who are disabled as well as their spouses.

The meeting will be held at Tuckahoe Area Library, 1901 Starling Drive, with identical sessions from 1 to 2 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Residents may participate in-person or virtually, via links to WebEx for the 1 p.m. session and 6:30 p.m. session. O’Bannon will be joined by Barbara Weedman, director of Henrico County Public Library; Neil Luther, director of the Division of Recreation and Parks; and Debbie Oxenreider, a section manager for the Department of Finance.
