Henrico 4-H, STEM Z to offer computer coding club starting in March

Coding SPIN Club is open to youth in fourth through eighth grades

Henrico 4-H and STEM Z, a nonprofit led by students at Henrico High School, are teaming up to offer a free virtual SPIN club focused on computer coding.

Open to fourth- through eighth-graders, the Coding SPIN Club will teach the basics of coding, Python and HTML through projects and collaborative activities. Sessions will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays from March 20 through May 8.

Register online by Friday, March 12. Participants also must register with 4-H Online. Select “Coding SPIN Club with STEM Z” as the club/unit and enroll in the project “STEM.”
