Civil Process deputies serve thousands of civil papers a month to include garnishments, summonses and other court orders. They utilize an automated tracking system designed by the Sheriff’s Office to provide citizens with updated information about these court ordered civil actions. They also perform court ordered evictions, levies and mental commitments. Transportation logs thousands of miles across the Commonwealth taking inmates to and from Henrico court appearances, medical appointments and Department of Corrections transfers.
