The Henrico County Health Department (HCHD) is excited to offer a variety of volunteer opportunities through our Medical Reserve Corps team. We believe that by involving community volunteers in our work, we are better able to serve Henrico County and create a healthier Henrico for all.
The Henrico Medical Reserve Corps is made up of medical and non-medical volunteers who support the community by promoting healthy living and disease prevention, improving local emergency preparedness, and responding to emergencies. Our MRC team includes the Chickahominy Health District, covering Hanover, Goochland, New Kent, and Charles City Counties. To see our recent activities in the community, check out our facebook page!
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, create a VVHS account, and complete MRC Orientation and a background check before volunteering.
