How to Receive this Service
Download the Application for Hiring Off-duty Officers and Employer Agreement forms above, and complete them. FAX or mail the completed forms along with a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance* (that contains specific required verbiage-see sample above) to the Secondary Employment Coordinator. The FAX number is 804 501-7225. The mailing address is: Police Secondary Employment, Henrico County Police Division, P. O. Box 90775, Henrico, VA 23273-0775.
Once your request has been processed, you will receive notification of the officer or officers scheduled to work your event.
*Henrico County requires employers who hire off-duty police officers provide the Police Division with a certificate of liability insurance from that particular employer. The certificate of liability insurance may be obtained by contacting your insurance provider, and it must contain specific verbiage required by Henrico County. A downloadable sample insurance certificate, which contains the specific verbiage required by the County, is available above.
