File a Claim
The division of Risk Management handles all claims for personal injury and property damage asserted against the County. A staff of professional claims adjusters investigate claims and determine if the County is liable under the applicable law. Additionally, the claims unit works strategically and collaboratively with safety and loss prevention to mitigate the County’s risks and increase public safety, through the implementation of Risk Management initiatives.
Risk management can only pay claims for which the County Government and Public Schools are legally liable.
How to Receive this Service
In order to file a claim against the County, you must do so by filling out a claim form. The completed form can be submitted to Risk Management by one of the following methods:
