Henrico Master Gardeners are trained volunteer educators. They work within their local communities to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through sustainable landscape management education and training.
The Henrico County Master Gardeners, in conjunction with the Henrico Extension Office, are offering assistance to Henrico residents providing on-site consultations regarding the care and health of trees.

The Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program of the university cooperative Extension network. JMG engages children in novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.
A Grower's Certificate confirms that a Henrico County citizen grows or produces items within Henrico County and is therefore eligible to sell these items, unprocessed and unprepared, in Henrico County. Items may include vegetables, fruits, poultry, eggs, flowers, herbs, etc
