As part of its responsibility in administering the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Program Grant, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), every year the County of Henrico submits to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) an Annual Consolidated Action Plan. This document describes the allocations of these federal funds for specific activities serving Henrico County residents. Every five years, Henrico County submits a Five-Year Consolidated Community Development Plan outlining general goals and objectives for the use of these funds. The most recent five-year plan was developed for 2015 through 2020 and incorporates the 2015-2016 Annual Action Plan.
The Draft 2019-2020 Annual Consolidated Community Development Action Plan is available for public review through June 25, 2018. The Plan, along with the federal funds budget (CDBG, HOME, and ESG) is scheduled to be considered for adoption by the Board of Supervisors on that date. Before taking action on the Plan, the Board will hold a public hearing. The June 25 meeting will be held in the Board Room in the County Administration Building at Parham and Hungary Spring Roads. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm. For additional information, or to provide comments on the draft Plan prior to the public hearing, please contact the Department of Community Revitalization at 501-7617 or email email@example.com.
