Belmont Recreation Center
Welcome to Belmont Recreation Center! A restored home and subsequent country club formally known as Hermitage Country Club, Belmont exerts a formal atmosphere making it an ideal facility to rent for various size gatherings, celebrations, meetings, or retreats. Belmont Recreation Center is nestled within a beautiful golf course, run by First Tee.
A variety of programs and events are offered for both children and adults throughout the year. Belmont welcomes the community to partake in one of many social clubs or regularly scheduled drop-in programs. Or some fun entertainment in Community Game Room.

Open Community Game Room
Fridays, 4-8pm | Saturdays, 9am-12pm | Mondays, 4-8pm
Join us for some friendly competition in our game room. Show off your skills with video games, Foosball, Skeeball, and more! Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For more information and additional availability, email belmont@henrico.us or call 804-652-1440.

1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays: 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Bridge (18+)

Dedicated to perpetuating English country dances that were favorites in both England and Colonial America during the 1700s.
Henrico PAL Program
Henrico PAL Chess Club (All Ages)
Fridays, 6:30-8:30pm.
Learn basic fundamentals of chess, chess etiquette, and more Participants should be at least vaguely familiar with the game of chess, but this is not mandatory. Informal lessons will be provided to those unfamiliar with the game. Registration must be completed (through HPAL) prior to participating.
The facility has numerous rooms available for rent:
- Grand Ballroom: 150 (maximum capacity)
- Ballroom A: 70 (maximum capacity)
- Ballroom B: 50 (maximum capacity)
- Ballroom C: 20 (maximum capacity)
- Hermitage Room: 20 (maximum capacity)
- Sunroom: 36 (maximum capacity)
The site also includes a full-size caterer’s kitchen and a large patio.
The parking lot has a capacity of 175 which is shared with the golf course.
