Virginia Center Common (VCC) Connector Trail

The County of Henrico will be constructing pedestrian improvements for approximately 0.4 miles from along Magnolia Ridge Drive from the intersection of Woodman Road Extended to the intersection of Brook Road. Project improvements include, but are not limited to: 

• Connect a five-foot-wide sidewalk along the north side of Magnolia Ridge Drive to the intersection of Route 1. 
• Construct a 12-foot-wide, two-way bicycle lane with a 3-foot-wide protected buffer adjacent to the sidewalk.  

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in the 4th Quarter, 2024. 
• Utility relocations are anticipated to begin in 2025. 
• Advertisement for construction is anticipated in 2025. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025. 
• Project completion is anticipated in 2025.
