The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including:

Provide sidewalk improvements along Staples Mill Road from Mountain Road to Staples Mill Plaza Shopping Center.

Design is to begin January, 2023.
Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin January, 2025.
Utility relocation is anticipated to begin June, 2025.
Advertisement for construction scheduled for March, 2026.
Construction is anticipated to begin July, 2026.
