Parham Road Pedestrian Intersection Improvements (Staples Mill Rd & Hungary Springs Rd)

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity at the Parham Road Intersections with Staples Mill Road & Hungary Springs Road. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• Add/Improve pedestrian crossing facilities at each of the two locations. 
• Construct approximately 200 ft of sidewalk on Parham Road east of Staples Mill Road. 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design is underway.
• Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin March, 2024.  
• Utility relocation is anticipated to begin August, 2024. 
• Advertisement for construction is May, 2025. 
• Construction is anticipated to begin September, 2025.
