Glen Allen HS Intersection Improvements

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• Add a crossing over Staples Mill Rd to Meadow Pond Lane to include ADA ramp(s).
• Add pedestrian signals and push-buttons. 

Estimated Schedule: (Month Year) 

• Design began in November 2022. 
• Right-of-way acquisition is not anticipated.
• Utility relocation is not anticipated.
• Advertisement for construction is 2nd quarter 2024 
• Construction is 3rd quarter 2024
