Airport Drive Sidewalk

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• Continuous sidewalk along the eastern side of Airport Drive from Airport Place to East Washington Street.

Design is underway.  Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin 3rd quarter 2024.  Utility relocation is anticipated to begin 2025.  Advertisement for construction is anticipated for 2025.  Construction is anticipated to begin 2025.
