Henrico County Division of Fire Engine and Squad 21 B-Shift

Lt. Curt Levins and Firefighters Bryan Estes, Kathy Palmer and Rick Pomfrey were dispatched recently to assist a resident whose electric wheelchair malfunctioned at a store near Virginia Center Commons. The store’s staff called Fire after numerous unsuccessful attempts to arrange transportation. The firefighters joined together to push the resident and his wheelchair to his home nearly a mile away. Way to go the extra (almost) mile!
