An employee took a moment to highlight amazing customer service by Kara Rothman, Tuckahoe Area Library Branch Manager. When the employee first called the library to reserve a room for the next afternoon, he was told he could check the room’s availability and make the reservation online. The employee attempted to do so but could not locate his library card. He called the library again only to learn his birthdate and name did not match in the library’s records. Realizing the library was about to close for the day and the employee would be unable to obtain a new card, Branch Manager Kara Rothman processed the reservation over the phone and enabled the employee to update his card information the following day when he arrived for his meeting. Way to go, Kara!
