Tuckahoe meeting May 18 to discuss water, recycling, refuse collection

Tuckahoe District Supervisor Patricia S. O’Bannon will host a Tuckahoe Town Meeting on Thursday, May 18 to discuss services provided by the Henrico County Department of Public Utilities, including public water, recycling and refuse collection.

Public Utilities Director Bentley Chan also will highlight upcoming initiatives, including the distribution of 95-gallon recycling carts to 90,000 homes in collaboration with the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority and The Recycling Partnership.

The meeting will be held at the Tuckahoe Area Library, 1901 Starling Drive, with sessions at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Residents also may participate virtually via WebEx using links for the 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. sessions.
