Tuckahoe Town Meeting Oct. 27 to provide information on wills, probates

Henrico County Board of Supervisors Chairman and Tuckahoe District Supervisor Patricia S. O’Bannon will host a discussion about wills and the probate process at a Tuckahoe Town Meeting Thursday, Oct. 27. Participants will be able to attend in person or virtually.    

The meeting will feature information on how to prepare a will and steps families can take to navigate the probate process. Henrico County Circuit Court Clerk Heidi Barshinger will highlight the role of the Clerk’s Office in the process and will join O’Bannon for the discussion. The officials will lead a question-and-answer session as well; questions may be emailed in advance to [email protected].

The meeting will be offered twice, at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., at the Tuckahoe Area Library, 1901 Starling Drive. Participants also may join the meeting virtually on WebEx for the 1 p.m. session and the 6:30 p.m. session.
