Henrico Board of Supervisors Chairman and Tuckahoe District Supervisor Patricia S. O’Bannon will host a Tuckahoe Town Meeting on Thursday, March 24 to highlight the county’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-23.
O’Bannon and County Manager John A. Vithoulkas will provide an overview of the plan, which includes a 2-cent reduction to the real estate tax rate, a 5% raise for employees and 117 additional positions for the Police and Fire divisions and Henrico County Public Schools.
The meeting will be held at the Tuckahoe Area Library, 1901 Starling Drive, with sessions at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Residents also may participate virtually via WebEx using links for the 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. sessions.
