The Henrico County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is offering a free, virtual program to help individuals and families explore the rich flavors and health benefits of tropical fruits.
Each Monday from Nov. 30 through Dec. 21, the Tropical Treasures program will provide email access to videos created by the Extension office that highlight a different tropical fruit. Participants will learn how to select the fruit, prepare recipes, propagate the fruit at home and design crafts inspired by and using the fruit.
Registration is available online. Information also is available about Henrico Extension and its 4-H Youth Development program. Tropical Treasures is offered in conjunction with National Tropical Fruit Month in December.
