Public input for Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan

A planning effort by the 25 local emergency management offices in Central Virginia and the Richmond Regional Planning District is underway, and they are seeking your input on the 2017 Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. This document assesses the community’s vulnerability to natural hazards and attempts to reduce the impact of natural disasters, as well as offering a coordinated and collaborative effort to continue Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mitigation grant program eligibility.
