Community Revitalization

Description

The Department of Community Revitalization coordinates the County’s revitalization programs and services intended to promote healthy, vibrant and attractive residential, commercial and industrial communities.

There are 2 divisions: Community Maintenance and Community Development.

Community Maintenance works cooperatively through communication, education, and volunteer assistance to gain willful compliance of the ordinances it enforces to promote a healthier and safer environment for everyone.  It also manages the community cleanup and volunteer programs to improve communities.

Community Development is responsible for administering federal funded CDBG, HOME and ESG Programs as well as the Enterprise Zone Program.
