Emergency Preparation

Get prepared for disasters and emergencies in four steps:

Step 1 – Make a Kit

It can seem daunting, but here are some easy to follow lists to put together an
emergency kit for home, work, and your vehicle. When putting your kit together,
think about the “basics of survival”: water, food, clear air, and warmth.
Also be sure to think about specific needs that you or your family may have,
including planning for your pets!

Step 2 – Have a Plan

Does everyone in your family know where to go or what to do if there is an emergency? Have you practiced your plan? Here are some links to help you develop your specific family communication plan so you’ll know how to contact each other, how to get back together, and what to do in different situations.
