County Attorney

The County Attorney's Office advises and represents the Board of Supervisors, the County Manager, County boards (including the School Board), commissions, agencies and employees in civil matters involving the County. The office also prosecutes violations of the Henrico County Code in such matters as inoperable motor vehicles, trash and litter, weeds and grass, zoning violations, rat control, and Building Code violations. All other criminal prosecutions are handled by the Commonwealth Attorney's Office. We cannot give private legal advice to citizens. See the FAQs.
