« All Events

March 8, 2018 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

As a participant in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG), Henrico County will prepare an Annual Action Plan for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The 2018-19 Annual Action Plan will include the County’s proposed uses of CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds for the program year beginning October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019.

Henrico County will conduct a public hearing at 6 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Fairfield Area Library Meeting Room at 1001 N. Laburnum Ave.  The County encourages citizens to attend, especially low- and moderate-income citizens and residents of low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, and express their opinions concerning community development needs in the County, past performance of community development programs and the 2016-17 CAPER.  Needs may include housing, enhancement of neighborhoods, expansion of economic opportunities, or any other needs that citizens consider important.

Agencies interested in applying for CDBG, HOME, or ESG funds for Program Year 2018-19 may obtain an application from the County website at henrico.us/revit.  The deadline to apply is March 5, 2018.

If you have comments or need additional information concerning the public hearing or applying for CDBG, HOME, or ESG funds, please call the Department of Community Revitalization at 501-7640.
