Three public hearings are being held to seek input on the development of the next Five Year Consolidated Community Development Plan for the years 2015-2020. This Plan is to be submitted to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and will guide the use of federal grant funds in addressing the community development needs of the County and the allocation of federal CDBG, HOME, and ESG Program funds. These funds are intended to support community development, housing, neighborhood enhancement, economic development, and other areas of community development serving low and moderate income citizens.

Citizens are encouraged to attend to express their opinion regarding the prioritization of community development needs and to comment on the past performance of programs implemented with these federal funds.
