Discover the impact African Americans had in eastern Henrico County. Learn about the lives of both enslaved and free people that lived and worked at High Meadow/Dabbs. A police officer will share stories of the time Dabbs House served as a police station. Meet some USCT Troop reenactors, who will share the role these men played in the Battle of New Market Heights. Hear about Evergreen and East End Cemeteries, once forgotten but now being restored.
