Inspired by patriotism, Rose O’Neal Greenhow, of Washington, D.C., and Elizabeth Van Lew, of Richmond, used their position in society to conduct clandestine activities from behind enemy lines. Join staff historian, Lisa Denton, who will present this comparative biography, explore the successes and failures of their wartime activities and how their espionage activities impacted their personal lives.
