The Henrico County Sheriff’s Office 42nd Basic Academy recently graduated 15 Henrico deputies and five Richmond City deputies during a ceremony at the Henrico County training Center.
The graduates received certificates of completion for their academic, physical, and firearms achievements, during theirDec. 18 graduation.
The Henrico deputies were: Patricia R. Baran, Brenda J. Ferguson, Muriel R. Fowler, Michael A. Gallione, Stephanie M. Holt, Demetrice N. Johnson, Oan W. Prak, Ralph Ricks, Crystal A. Roberson, Terrance K. Sanders, Debra A. Tantillo, Michael J. Thomas, Keith O. Turner, Machelle T. Williams, and Sharon N. Wilson.
The Richmond City deputies were: Sydney V. Felix, Jr., Kenyatta Jones, Quantrell Parham, Jose Perez, and Sonya Robinson.
The Sheriff’s training academy consists of 560 hours of comprehensive academic and practical instruction in civil and criminal law, jail operations, court security, and civil process. The training also includes extensive firearms, defensive tactics, fire fighting and emergency procedures.
The academy includes training by the Henrico Sheriff’s Office instructors and the combined efforts of Henrico County public safety agencies.
