Youth Conservation Camp

Availability:
available in person   In Person

This program brings together students for a week of learning about Virginia’s natural resources from conservation professionals and faculty from Virginia Tech.  Most of the instruction is hands-on and outdoors.  Students must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12.

Henricopolis offers scholarships for at least two students to cover the registration fee.  The only cost to the student is transportation to and from Virginia Tech.  In 2017 we were able to sponsor three deserving students.

2017 Youth Conservation Camp was held July 9-15, 2017.  Congratulations to the following students chosen to represent Henricopolis at the 2017 camp:

Mary Leigh Biastock – Deep Run High School

Tara Jones – Glen Allen High School

Shravya Shetty– Deep Run High School
