The Henrico County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will offer a series of free workshops in the fall to help residents care for their lawns and landscaping:
- “Winterizing Your Lawn,” Thursday, Sept. 22 at Varina Area Library, 1875 New Market Road. The deadline to register is Monday, Sept. 19.
- “Choosing the Right Tree,” Thursday, Sept. 29 at Twin Hickory Area Library, 5001 Twin Hickory Road. The deadline to register is Monday, Sept. 26.
- “Caring for an Older Tree,” Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Varina Area Library. The deadline to register is Thursday, Oct. 27.
