The Henrico County office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold a free workshop Tuesday, Feb. 24 to help individuals meet their goals for saving money.
The Three Keys to Savings workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the board room of the Human Services Building, 8600 Dixon Powers Drive. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required by Monday, Feb. 23.
The workshop is open to the public and coincides with America Saves Week, which is Feb. 23-28. The nonprofit Consumer Federation of America coordinates America Saves Week to help individuals save money, reduce debt and build wealth.
The workshop will outline simple strategies for saving money for emergencies, a large purchase, debt payments or other needs. The program also will provide information about Central Virginia Saves, a free program to help individuals control their finances.
