Assistant to the County Manager for Board Affairs

Tanya N. Brackett joined the County in July 2008, as Deputy Clerk/Administrative Assistant to the Board of Supervisors Office and served in this capacity for 12 years. Ms. Brackett is certified as a Municipal Clerk and is pursuing her Master Municipal Clerks certification. In September of 2020, Ms. Brackett was named Assistant to the County Manager for Board Affairs/Clerk to the Board of Supervisors. Ms. Brackett is a member of the Virginia Municipal Clerks Association where she serves as the First Vice President, and she is a member of the International Institute Municipal Clerks Association.
