Become an expert on all things green by enrolling in the Henrico Master Gardener Volunteer Program!
The Master Gardener Volunteer program includes training and instruction in all aspects of horticulture, including lawn care; trees and shrubs; vegetable gardening; and pest management. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from January to March. After completing classroom training, participants serve a 50-hour internship with the Extension Office and help conduct educational programs for the general public.
There is a $135 fee to cover costs of training materials.
